About Me

I am just an old Cowboy, in love with and married to the most beautiful woman in the world. I work for the City of Brownwood, my day job, and on the side I weld and create horseshoe and horseshoe nail art. I also have a business helping people save on their electric bills. This is the job which is going to help me retire in the next year. The greatest thing to happen in Texas.

I grew up on a farm just outside of a small town called Okra, Tx. The little town no longer remains, but does still have a city limit sign. Maybe just because the name was Okra. I hope they always keep the city limit sign there. We owned the little store there, which was a Store, Gas Station and Post Office combined. One night, someone robbed us and burnt down the store. I was just a Kid when that happened. The little Church which was across the highway was closed down later and turned to a hay barn until it fell and was removed.

INSERT (Due to request about where Okra, Tx is)

Okra, Tx. is between Rising Star and Carbon. You leave Rising Star on 36 toward Comanche and go about 5 miles out (which is Chuckville, which no longer exist, and has no city limit sign) and turn left on 587 toward De Leon. Then go about 1 mile and turn left on 1027 towards Carbon. Then about 5 to 7 miles you will come to the city limit sign. There is nothing left there except a couple of houses. One house on left was built next to the lot where our store was which was on the corner. Blink when you go through and you miss it, lol. Go about 2 miles on and come to an S curve with a bridge in the curve, our old Home place starts just before the bridge. The entrance is on the left after you cross the next bridge. Thank you for your inquiries.

I got married and moved away, then when Dad could no longer handle keeping the farm up, they moved into Rising Star, Tx. I visit the old farm place at times. Have to sneak in now, lol. The old house is gone and the place has grown up now. Can't hardly walk through it. The two tanks are about dried up and the creek is dried up. Don't know anymore who owns it.

I drove a truck for about 15 years. Started when I was 18. When you grow up around something, you tend to lean that way in life. So, being a Cowboy, Truck Driver and a Christian, I was destined to be. My Dad was a Preacher. You know what they say about Preachers Kids. Now the last 17 years I have been in Brownwood, Tx.

My wife and I have 5 children between us. We also have 9 Grandkids. We lost my youngest son October 2005. He was in the Army and served in Afganistan in the war against terrorism. He was a proud American, who was willing to give his life for his country's freedom. He is my Hero. I am proud of him. He lived a short, but full life. October 1982 to October 2005. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him. He was raised to love everyone and to forgive, and he grew to be that kind of person. He had to be an Angel. At least that is what I always thought. He was an unexpected Gift from God. With that and the way he grew up, is why I say he was an Angel. He helped me get through some really rough times in my life. I miss him dearly. He was also my fishing partner. We caught many a bass together. I am putting pictures of his beginning fishing career and his last fishing trip with me and my wife on Fathers Day Weekend 2005.

Hope you didn't get bored reading my life. I like making new friends. God Bless and keep you in his Love.

Interests

I do horseshoe art and horseshoe nail art. I also make knives. I am a Bass Angler. I play Keyboard, Guitar and Bass Guitar.

And I love helping my friends make extra money by helping their Family and Friends save money on their Electric Bills in Texas with a new Texas based business that is changing lives. Ground floor opportunity in Texas and soon to branch out into other states. So get in early. If you are interested in learning more, call me. I will come show you how it works. Hey, it really is a beautiful story that is shared, I am a young 27 years of living in Pucallpa, Peru, the east-jungle. well I belong to a youth organization which has been formalized and doing social skills through huestras (theater, counseling, educational fairs ...) maybe we do not have financial resources but we do it in the best way to support other youths and adolescents of our region, I am much attention as he shared about his son, if he was really very young, the other day I attended a talk by adolescents and youth in a local human rights, I attracted a lot of attention because there was a photo, the same as you, that was in a local human rights, this photo is in a box hung on the wall, you were by my town some time?
